Muthupandi lives with his family in Chennai happily after retirement. He enjoys spending time with his 6-year-old grandson. His son Arjun is an Assistant commissioner a very straightforward officer.

He follows a case for years to trace the main head. Suddenly he goes missing and Muthupandi goes in search of him. What happens to Muthupandi & his family in this fight against the main lead forms the climax of the story.
